Low‐Light Shadow Imaging Using Quadrature‐Noise Detection with a Camera
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper experimentally demonstrates an imaging technique based on quadrature noise modification after interaction with opaque object. By using a homodyne-like detection scheme, the detrimental effect of camera dark is eliminated, making this approach particularly attractive for scenarios which require weak illumination. As example, image object illuminated squeezed vacuum reconstructed total 800 probing photons, utilizing less than one photon per frame average.

Shadow Gestures: 3D Hand Pose Estimation Using a Single Camera
This paper describes a system that uses a camera and a point light source to track a user's hand in three dimensions. Using depth cues obtained from projections of the hand and its shadow, the system computes the 3D position and orientation of two ngers (thumb and pointing nger). The system recognizes one dynamic and two static gestures. Recognition and pose estimation are user independent and ...
متن کاملA Camera Based Virtual Keyboard with Touch Detection by Shadow Analysis
Recent years have marked a sharp increase in the number of ways in which people interact with computers. Where the keyboard and mouse were once the primary interfaces for controlling a computer, users now utilize touchscreens, infrared cameras (like Microsoft’s Kinect), and accelerometers (for example, within the iPhone) to interact with their technology. In light of these changes and the proli...
متن کاملA+D-Net: Shadow Detection with Adversarial Shadow Attenuation
Single image shadow detection is a very challenging problem because of the limited amount of information available in one image, as well as the scarcity of annotated training data. In this work, we propose a novel adversarial training based framework that yields a high performance shadow detection network (D-Net). D-Net is trained together with an Attenuator network (A-Net) that generates adver...
متن کاملConvolutional Neural Network-Based Shadow Detection in Images Using Visible Light Camera Sensor.
Recent developments in intelligence surveillance camera systems have enabled more research on the detection, tracking, and recognition of humans. Such systems typically use visible light cameras and images, in which shadows make it difficult to detect and recognize the exact human area. Near-infrared (NIR) light cameras and thermal cameras are used to mitigate this problem. However, such instru...
متن کاملImaging Colorimetry Using a Digital Camera
In this work, we investigate the use of a digital camera for colorimetry. Our system consists of a measurement device and a corresponding calibration mapping. The goal is to design a system that will accurately assess the color of a sample. We develop two colorimetry systems by applying model-based and regression-based techniques. For both systems, the measurement device is formed by a digital ...
